For more than 35 years, Michael Till, the partner who oversees Mohle Adams’ financial-reporting and business-advisory services, has worked closely with company owners to help them accomplish their short- and long-term goals. Mike believes that auditing and financial reporting are not only valuable assurance services in their own right, but also that these vehicles enable the auditors to learn about the businesses and industries at a very deep level. This enables auditors to assist owners and managers in taking their business to the next level.
Mike’s business-advisory skills encompass compensation planning, merger and acquisition services, deal structure and analysis, capital allocation and performance measurement. By offering this broad mix of services, he brings an informed second opinion to many of his clients’ business questions. This value has brought him longstanding, trust-based relationships with many clients.
Mike’s key strength lies in his ability to think both strategically and conceptually across a broad spectrum of disciplines—including tax, finance, risk management, succession planning, acquisitions and performance measurement. His clients know they can depend on him to help them understand and respond to complex, challenging situations.
Mike began his career at Mohle Adams in 1980, advancing to partner in 1986. He is active in several business-advisory groups and is involved in several nonprofit organizations in both board and advisory capacities. Mike has been married to Jo Helen for 26 years. They have one daughter, Chelsea, who recently graduated from Texas A&M in the business honors program. In his spare time, Mike enjoys working out and all forms of strategy games.
